Global Head of Ad Operations (m/w/d)

Role Objective
The Head of Ad Operations & Campaign Management is responsible for managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns, ensuring smooth programmatic execution, media efficiency, and client satisfaction. This role plays a key part in driving successful ad operations and delivering high-quality campaign performance.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, from pre-sales planning to optimization and post-campaign reporting
- Lead programmatic trading and media buying across display, video, and paid social channels
- Develop and implement best-in-class media execution processes to enhance performance, efficiency, and scalability
- Collaborate with sales and client success teams to optimize media investments and improve rebooking rates
- Serve as a strategic consultant to clients, ensuring campaign success, maximizing performance, and driving media efficiency
Your Profile
- 8+ years of experience in Programmatic Ad Buying, Trading Desks, Paid Social, or Retail Media
- Deep knowledge of DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, MicroSoft Xandr, etc.), social buying platforms, and digital measurement frameworks
- Strong ability to explain programmatic and paid media concepts to advertisers and internal teams
- Experience managing a team of ad traders, campaign managers, and optimization specialists
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional language is a plus
- Strong leadership skills in managing multicultural and cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate strategies and insights effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment
- Skilled at distilling complex information into key insights for executive decision-making
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a matrixed organization
- Strong relationship-building and consultative abilities, with a competitive drive to succeed
- Results-driven, analytical, self-motivated, and hands-on in achieving targets
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and team collaboration
- Awareness of cultural nuances in global business interactions
- Strong executive presentation skills across in-person, written, and verbal formats
